My journey as a teacher began on 3rd January 2005. Since then, it has been a learning experience every school day. Even though this new role had drained me mentally, emotionally and physically, I refuse to raise the white flag.
Tough love is hard. I am just starting to discover this dimension of love for a child and I want to know what this love encompasses. Firm discipline, sincerity, consistency, and, what else? In order to find out the correct dosage of every single component of this love, I need to persevere in this journey to find out.
All thoughts of discouragement and defeat aside! I would be readily charged up to begin a new week again.
