A warm hug from an ex-student who had left for secondary school meant much to me - she remembers me as her teacher!
I would travel a different route tomorrow - not to NIE, but to my primary school. I miss the environment, I miss my students, I miss the old colleagues there... etc.
At the same time, I know I would miss my peers at NIE. Afterall, we spent the past 10 months slogging through assignments and projects together.
My luggage is full. It is filled with lots of new perspectives, lots of new ideas and a renewed hope that I am carrying back to school. God be with me. He is the only one who sustains me emotionally as I head back to pour out my life to my students. Help me do so willingly and joyfully!
