Her Air

An air of serenity always seems to surround her.

She is always positive in her outlook of life and the nitty-gritty affairs about work. She is ever ready to encourage her subordinates. She is one of the few leaders whom I greatly admire.
I am single, not-too-old and almost burden-free. Yet, I get depressed and discouraged easily. "It's wonderful to retire from this dead-end job and travel around the world with the one whom you vowed to love," I thought. Never did I realize that the picture is not as ideal as what I had painted for her.
Nonetheless, she maintains her loving smile and remarks cheerfully that she still needs to remain positive despite her circumstances.
Her concluding statement made me rethink my own thoughts. Are my circumstances too difficult to handle? No more. Time to stop wallowing in self defeat and start tackling work matters one day at a time.
