Praised Smart Alec for trying to remain silent by pretending to meditate in the Yoga position as he sat on the desk. Followed through this by awarding bonus points to his group. Subsequently, several others followed his Yoga act thinking that they could gain points from me too. Flopped again!
Nine year olds can be fun to be around and difficult to discipline at the same time. Banned three from ever stepping out from the prison when Ms Warden is around because they lied about going for t-break. They were only trying to enjoy a few minutes of freedom from the prison - that is not wrong. Still, I must discipline them for lying to me.
Just after recess, my only absentee for the day was brought back to school. She played truant and was caught playing at the slope close to school. Trials never come one at a time, do they?
TGIF. Next week will be better, much better...... after this battery is recharged once more.
