Witty's mother, Liew 妈妈, was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer that had spread from her gall bladder to her liver last week. Witty gave me permission to share this with my SS kakis so as to testify to God's goodness in her life. Witty is Esther (yes, our jovial SS tutor).
Below is a series of text messages that Esther had sent last week. My intent of publishing them in my blog is a reminder to myself of God's loving-kindness that never ceases.

It is like watching drama as I unfold God's blessing in my mother. The doctors told me to be thankful she is alive. They may want to put in one more metal piece to open her ducts permanently. Need to know if I should reopen that wound again. It will be the third time.

My mum has second stage cancer of the gall. Please pray for healing as the surgeon decide what is best for her. (Esther confirmed with me later that it is stage 3 as the cancer cells has spread to her liver)

On my way to the liver surgeon, I prayed for a ray of hope and a sign sunshine God have them to me not one but all two things and one more just got information that I can move my mother to China. We can get her treated with gamma rays generated by cobalt. Just want to tell all of you he is hearing our cries for help. Thank you for you prayers. Without them, I cannot go through each day.
