Gifts

Sg shared from Corinthians 12 today, somewhat related to the church and the will of God. The unique gifts that the Lord has graciously bestowed upon each of us is not for self-glorification, rather it is for the building up of the body in Christ.

It makes me wonder. So what's my gift? Having been a 10-year-old Christian, of course I know the answer! It's only a matter of my willingness to use my gift for the building up of the saints. God has been really gracious to me. In times when I am selfish with His gift, He still gives me time to repent and turn back to Him.

I am (or should I use 'was'?) an effective intercessor. My joy came from compiling and praying through long lists of needs and desires of the saints around me. The amazing truth is that God always listens and answers those prayers. It was His way of encouraging me to pray more fervently for those believers and pre-believers around me.

Now what and now how!? Lord, help me pray more with less time.
