If I feel hurt by Cynical Person, I know that I am equally as guilty as that person because I am quite cynical myself. Can you imagine the number of people who have been hurted by me then?
Even though I am still bogged down by the past unpleasant encounters this week, I learn that I have to be watchful over the words that come out from my mouth because they only reflect the state of my heart. Being straightforward is no excuse for inflicting hurt on people using sharp, thoughtless words.
The community within the fences surrounding the school is small. If we want to preserve the camaraderie of our BIG family in NT, everyone has to watch what we speak. May it be with much empathy and kindness.
