Bus 143

Travelling on bus 143, my destination was the stop at PSA building before changing to another bus that brings me to our meeting point at AV. When the clock strucked 12, the bus passed the junction at PSA and went straight towards Pasir Panjang. I missed the stop where I should had alighted. I took the wrong bus!
After texting D a message to tell him where I was and my plans to have lunch where the bus brings me, I decided to stop at the familiar stop where Dor and I used to attend Revelations class. I walked up the hill (leading up to Kent Ridge Park) and stopped at the coffee shop that sells Teochew boneless duck.
Shortly, my sumptuous meal of boneless duck tigh, sambal kang kong with porriage was served. It was an expensive one too - $8.50! I realized that the average cost per customer was at least nine dollars. Mine was not that bad after all. The meat was juicy and tender. The chilli was nice. The sambal kang kong was rather appetizing too. After washing very item down with the porriage, I left the shop full, but still unhappy with the expensive lunch. If D and I had met, the meal I had paid for at AV hawker centre would had been less than this amount for sure.
Even though I had plans for a spiritual retreat after lunch, I decided that the weather was way too hot to be heading down Sentosa or heading up Mount Faber. Therefore, I came home instead. I have been mediating on Psalms 23 since the beginning of this week. I had it memorized by heart since many years back. Now, I want to digest every word in this psalm so that my mind can absorb the essence of what God wants to say through King David.
