Lost my laptop today. The cost that I have to compensate the school is painful. However, I feel more pain trying to make sense of why I am the victim of such an expensive trial.
The only verse that kept repeating in my mind is this, "Consider it all JOY, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. " James 1:3-4.
I am at a daze since 5:30pm after stepping out from school. My first outpour was to God, followed by my Mum and Aunts (they were real cool about potentially having to loan me the hefty $3k). Finally, I am facing myself by blogging my thoughts now.
I will remain hope-filled. Tomorrow will be a good day because God is still with me and there are neater trials coming along the way. If trials are meant for my good, I am convinced that losing a 3k 'precious' is a trial where I get to witness God's goodness which I have not yet seen.
