Finding God in... KUCHING!

I like to watch airplanes fly. When the engine propels the body of the plane up and forward, the plane starts to lift off the ground and fly. Gradually, you would see the wheels of the plane return automatically back to its original compartment. The airplane is really an amazing invention by the Wright brothers, isn't it?

On May 15th, the moment MI378 lifted off Singapore’s runway, I felt a sense of relief and quiet delight as I was desperate to leave this place. Amidst the gloomy clouds in the sky, I witnessed the spectacular colors of the setting sun from my seat by the window. In my heart, I exclaimed, “LORD, I want to find You!” This marked the beginning of my spiritual retreat to find God in…… Kuching.

Tian’s daddy took us out to this eating place for an alfresco Chinese fusion dinner. TY was introduced as the gourmet expert who simply enjoys EATING. My yucky after-flight fatigue was comforted by the warm Cocoa, midin salad, soft shell crab, duck, and prawns.

Upon arrival at Tian’s house, Moey (her spastic dog) appeared at the spastic gate to welcome us. His saliva reeks of a stinky repulsive smell that fills the air surrounding the front porch. Tian’s family baby, Fullerton the cat, was the next member whom I met. Proud people are difficult to accept, all the more I am not attracted to proud cats like Fullerton.
I cannot imagine how I relented to Full sleeping by my tighs last night when I slept in Tian's room in order to savour the final moments of our time in Kuching chatting through the morning. Even though Full is an awfully smart cat, I still do not like him that much!

Grandma's Birthday!
She sat in the exact same location as she did during her last birthday. I need to change the angle we take next year's shot. Haa!

How can 姑姑 forget to take picture with Cheyenne, right?

I am tired.

Dead tired.

Will continue my travel log tomorrow.
